Clash of the Titans is a car club/business that hosts a lot of shows. I don't know if you guys have been to Jimmy's car sterio comp. in Montg. or not, but they always invite C.T. to sponser one of the speaker comps.
A Whitley show, hummmm....best way to explain it is.... It's just a bigger show. More classes, more chances to win, etc... Did you go to the Extreme Lows comp. in Jonesborrow last year? It was not a Whitley show, so most people got screwed. You guys know what my Neon looked like, well they put me in the same class as pro-class imports. REALLY not fair. Jimmy's Car comp. was a Whitley show. Nopi is a Whitley show.

And in science news today, a local low rider competition in town reached national headlines when Victor Martinez and his car 'El Kickass' defied one of the basic laws of natural physics by having his car and the earth be one entity for the durartion of the show. 'El Kickass' didn't win the Best Car Overall prize though, but he did walk away with the Best Interior award. Victor, although proud of his prize did seem upset when he didn't win the Best Overall, "Man, I thought I had that shit on lock, ya know? I mean, I'm doin shit out here that none of yall cats have ever seen. Man, shit, I don't want to be talkin down or nottin about the competition because I mean it's all love for everyone else but, I and everyone else here knows that some recoginition should be given when you gets your shit to defy basic atomic structure. But, dude... I got some new 30' subs ready to go in this beast for next year. I'll take it then."

I doubt this show will have skylines and the signal s15. Oh and HIN was pretty much a waste of money. All of those cars were at nopi anyways.

True Mike, not everybody went. I'm glad that I did just because I ended up drunk. I was expecting it to be a larger show. Maybe not Nopi size, but at least as big as HIN minus the dj and the lights.

I can tell that you have never competed. It all depends on you class. Neons, APC stickers, and other shit, that was my specialty. I was in a conservative class 2 out of the 3 times that I competed. The more engine mods that you have, the higher the class which means that it's harder to win. It doesn't matter if you have an all show car with a kit and air bags or anything like that, you're still going to be conservitive. When you are put into classes they count your mods (show and go) that's how they decide who you are up against.
Go to a show smart ass, you could learn a lot.

There was a rice convention at the Le Mans on saturday. A bunch of "boyz" showed up with their stickers a'flyin and their bling bling blingin'.....you could tell they thought they were cool. Little did they know that REAL automotive enthusiasts come to that race and looked upon those cars as one would look upon a huge genital wart.......Pissed and wondering how in the hell you can rid the world of the vermin and make it a better place for all with good taste :)
Plain and simple......Rice boys and their cars make my blood boil, there are few things in this world that make me want to knock somebody's front teeth out and POS, riced out, ghetto subbed and slamned, slow ass civics/malibus/neons/kias/etc...do just that.

In response to your Lexus post, that "Lexis" that your referring to is a 93. So it probably was at a reasonable price when it was purchased.
Any one can have a decent car if some actual "thought" was put into it, obviously unlike you.

I am sorry for the "Lexis" statement it was not directed at anyone in particular, I was just hurt and was not thinking (as usual).
I know that I should not care about what other people think of me, but some times stuff just gets to me (I am a girl and only 17). It's hard for me to try to hang around with all of you. I want to be there for one b/c I have learned a lot (ex. Neon to 240sx - big improvement,) but I know that you all are way out of my age group and can't really relate.
I know that most of you don't like me, but I wish you would consider giving me another chance to make things right. If not, it's all good, I'll get used to it. :wink:
