Yea the one I have is a pre-published version and I don't know why the captions are in another language  If you want the real thing they are on newsstands now. Good article

Nice article, I haven't seen that issue yet.
And BTW, you've got some nice pics on your website, one of them is my new background. :)

Thanks, just shoved some stuff up there this morning because I had a fast connection at the airport. Let me guess it's the 8-valve Honda stuff? ;)

That's some crazy stuff. What exactly is the premise behind it? I work with an ex-honda engineer, he mentioned in passing that it was a honda race motor, but I have never seen it before myself.

It's a motorcycle engine. There is one at Barber (although just looks like a Bike really). It kinda circumvented the rules because it had to be a 4 cylinder engine and Honda basically made a V8 with oval pistons, two rods, 2 plugs, and 8V per cylinder. Pretty crazy. Anyway I don't know much about the history and I don't even remember the name of the bike, if it did well or if it ever raced at all. I've heard it was a major problem with ring seal and cylinder boring and stuff. It's not hard to make an oval piston, but pretty hard to make oval rings. ;) And making it all seal must have really been a bitch.

Word to your mother :pimp:
I'll have to pick that one up to add to my collection.
i'm actually thinking about cutting out the RaceTech, R&T and GRM articles and framing them. They're prettier to look at and alot easier to hang on to than just having a stack of magazines stuck away somewhere.
