Primary or secondary O2 sensor. I know you guys with test pipes have one lying around or zipped tied somewhere so let me know.

They should be different part numbers front and rear.

Yeah but supposedly they are the same part and will work.

Will work for what? They have different reading values. Who says they will work, Joe Riceboy? They might turn off your CEL but they aren't the same thing.

Thanks for clarifying that Charlie. I guess I'm Joe Riceboy because I didn't know they different values.

Well I checked up on it and the secondary and primary O2 sensor are apparently the same with just different part numbers (apparently the wire length to the clip might be a little different). The ECU can determine which clip it is connected to so. Of course there are differnt value readings to determine if the car is polluting or not but apparently the ECU determines this by taking the difference between the two senors when both are in operation.

I find it highly unlikely, but I suppose it's possible. Where did the info come from?

Honda-Tech. Several of the guys in the tech forum said they are interchangeable.

Pretty much the connectors are different but if you do it the ghetto way, you can cut off the connectors and just wire it wire to wire and then tape it up or use butt connectors. Thats the ways my friends and I have done it :D

If they are like the Mazda (NTK) which I assume they are; there are sensor differences, they don't make different plugs for a reason. The rears are more sensitive and so they definitely won't work well in the front. The ECU will have a hard time correcting. Putting a front in the rear might make it a little less likely to throw a CEL.
Of course no O2 sensor affects WOT.
