What is the story on the 1967 Penske Car?

Looks to be quite a little gathering, I would love to come and if I can work it out I will try and see if I can bring a car. No 100% about that but I think you would be happy to have this one if I brought it.

I'm not sure if that is the same car, but there was a Car and Driver article on an acid dipped Penske Camaro that was in Montgomery a couple of years ago. I want to say that the car was on display in what is now an antique store across from Lowes on the Eastern Bypass back in the 90's, but I could be wrong.
