Forsaken just hit its first birthday. We were actually trying to hit closed beta by today, but we weren't able to due to us not having a mapper around all the time as well as me being busy with classes (damn them).

Within a month or two you guys should be getting information on where to download Forsaken along with a PM containing account information to our bug database (since it is a beta, you will need to submit a bug report on any bugs you find).

Anyways, no screenshots can truly show you what we have in-game... so I leave you with this.

Forsaken now has these features:

Sprinting
Leaning
Leader and Group Leader Abilities
All decided weapons in-game and fully functional
Multiple objective capabilities

Keep in mind, these are all in-game. From the code side Forsaken should be considered beta-complete in a month or two... we just need some mappers to help bring the Forsaken world to life.

Do you have the textures all done? And the Hammer configs? Custom entities?

Maybe some mapping tutorials for Source? (i.e. the cool shit, like breakable entities, the new effects, etc)

:D It's been a while but, I could always try to map again

Hammer config and custom entities are done, and we have several artists that can do textures. As far as tutorials go...

Damn... who let the cat out of the bag?

Let me re-iterate, I (http://forums.aspeedracing.com/showthread.php?t=3485) am (http://forums.aspeedracing.com/showthread.php?t=3410) not (http://forums.aspeedracing.com/showthread.php?t=3291&highlight=forsaken) working (http://forums.aspeedracing.com/showthread.php?t=3004) on a game... not at all.
