View Full Version : My car + 100oct + 26psi = omg
Just got done messing around w/ the car tonight....good gosh does the good juice a some decent boost make a difference. Power gained above 6500rpm is probably only in the neighborhood of 20whp, BUT power gained in the midrange from about 3500-6500 is HUGE. The car is a tq MONSTER. When making this much boost on the stock turbo, the car becomes a damn F-body.....crazy tq. Most people who run this amount of boost dyno 350/360ish whp and about 380wtq :dropjaw: . Gotta love that stock turbo for the tq. It can't hold 26psi to redline, it drops to ~20/21ish which is why upper end power isn't as largely effected, but watching her wrap 26lbs in the mid range gives my car enough tq to make it buck even w/ its pretty stiff suspension. So yea, I am having fun. :D

Just think, you could run like this anytime you want at the flip of a switch (cough, alcohol injection, cough).
Looks like I'll be ready to come get the R's engine really soon. You gonna be up to helping me drop it in one weekend?
Edit: Yeah the last part should have been a PM, bite me.
Give me a call and let me know. We will get her up and running in a day tops.

But nitrous is cheating. lmao Michael, you get that lifter fixed yet?
Taking care of it tomorrow ;) . I am too afraid of an alchy pump failing or something of that nature to run the alky kit for our cars. That and 26psi daily for this turbo is too much. Guess I am just going to have to go for a 35R :D

Hahha good work. It's not everyday that you get to use "tectonic plates" in a sentence.
