SRT-4 Dyno Results

I took the T-4 to Dynolab in ATL on Saturday...I am VERY:D please with the results. I had a good time doing the dyno runs and Arthur was a real nice guy, I recommend getting dyno tests or mods done by him. :beer:

sweet man, Have you done anything to yours yet? I just installed a Perrin SRI and have a Needswings Cutpipe on order. Cutpipe=3inch testpipe that comes strait off the 02 housing is about 2 feet long and dumps the exhaust under the car. but it Y's and runs to the stock exhaust and comes with a block off plate for the 3inch outlet so if youget tired of the wicked sound it makes then you can block it off and tone it down to a catless stock exhaust which still sounds pretty beasty. After much research and talking to the dime a dozen SRT owners that have about 400+ HP up here Ive decided its the best exhaust for the SRT. Needwings also makes an electronic flutter vlave for the cut pipe that you can control from inside the cabin, pretty sweet.

The powa' DROPS off at about 5K RPM's...redline is about 6K and rev limiter is 6250 RPM, so I figure by just putting on my WGA and turing the boost to about 17psi spike I should be good for maybe 15-20 more whp...add the 3" exhaut and hopefully I can get 260ish to the ground. Makes me wanna :nutonit: :O

if your going to turn up the boost I would reccomend new motormounts, cause wheel hop is pretty bad stock and the motormounts will cure it.

There is also Evan he drives the 03 yellow. If you never done any of the installs before they can get quiet confusing, but once you understand the basics of most of the stuff it will all come together. I'll pm you my cell number and we can meet up sometime. Actually today I am going home to reroute some of my vacuum lines. The next best mod for you to get it S1, S2, or S3. I just purchased S1 because of my future plans for the car. Depending on what kind of power you are wanting wait before you go buying S2 or S3. The problem with having a WGA and BC with S0 is you will shoot a CEL. I know for sure you get code P1188 for Partical Throttle Overboost and P???? for the Overboost Code. Although you can rid of the overboost code by setting the boost around 15-16 psi and no more. To rid of the partical throttle overboost code you just do the ed tip sensor mod. I'll explain more of this if we meet.

Thats mostly likely going to happen in all reality, but not necessarily a good thing.

There is a good bit of discussion about this. When we were installing the parts on Phil's car I was explaining to him about all of this. I took him for a ride in my car and my PTB is crazy. Although I acutally like it. Gas mileage now sucks but I don't drive the car alot. Most of the time I am in my truck. Also the turbo spools up so fast. At WOT with my S1 I am able to hold 17psi to redline. We still have a bit of tuning on Phil's car also. Phil, I highly recommend buying S1. If you are going with big turbo don't even bother with S2.

The other one is Jeff, he still has the dealer tag on the car and he thinks that the car has S1 and a 3inch exhaust system. I looked the car up and down and it is completely stock.

SRT's are Domestics....so maybe I am not understanding what you are saying?I hate to say but they aren't ever going to take back the domestic market, they are a niche line, that unfortunately neither GM or FORD can fill with a good product. They are fast, but they are not the end all be all, just like the Supra isn't nor is the Cobra. It is great car and a hell of alot of fun to drive, but ever car has it's place.

I've seen 2 yellow SRT-4's, a red SRT-4 w/out the friggin huge wing (could possibly be you)... the girl with the blue SRT-4 is on aspeed (although mainly as a casual reader, rarely posts) and her SN is srt 04. She's currently living at my place in AU while I am working in ATL.

Yep, its going to be fast as shit to. Hes getting a pretty nasty turbo for it...although he doesnt have traction as it is with his stg2 and exhuast.

as for the SRT roll call I did earlier, that was jsut second hand info i got frm steve w/the s-13. Ive only seen the yellow one from APR and the Blue one that girl drives around Auburn.

The yellow SRT (APR guy) his car is bad ass. He really knows what he's talking about especially when it comes to the Audi, VW, and all those. As far as the turbo . . . with the proper tuning he should be in the mid 11s. Many SRT guys has this turbo set and most of them are around the mid 11s. Whatever?, you are correct. His best time was 13.2 @ 105.5. He just recently got a few new items that are going on the car. Once in a while he lets me take it down the track every now and then. He has drag radial but that doesn't help. I think he is going to need slicks. Hey when you have almost 310 of torque what do you expect??

So we do got a few SRTs running around.
