So I got my GLI kit on for the second time today. After putting it on a couple weeks ago, I happily took it to grands mill road here in Birmingham. Immediately after, I slammed into a truck tire going 75 mph down 459 heading home. Thankfully, I don't own firearms.

I ordered a new front, got it painted, and put it on (much less of a hassle without a front valence or anything underneath the car, thanks to the tire). The rear is off, as I need to get a new exhaust or weld a new tip on the stock catback. I love being a ric3r!

Anyway, I also had an exhaust leak/rattle until today from my 3" ebay downpipe. Got some sweet sealant, clay-like stuff from Autozone and fixed it right up. The stuff works great.

Here are some PICTURES...

Alright, but I don't like to drive them around town that much. I took the restrictor plates off of both of them and they aren't exactly street legal. Plus, I can't drive two cars--you'll have to come up to Birmingham and drive one of them down for me, if that isn't too much trouble...

I'll put up more pics after I get it back from the dealership. This was actually one of the best mods I've done. I've always had my car slammed, almost 1/2 or 3/4 the way down the threads on my coilovers. I raised it up the whole way when I put the kit on, and the difference in handling/ride is amazing. I know you guys probably already know this, but the change was a huge shock to me :omg:.

Blakepatch: Yeah, I'm from Vestavia. Peter was there also, right?
