well, as some of you know, i took the z06 to the track friday and here are the results. i was very happy with the car but its frickin' hard to launch this thing. i've got to work on it cause my 60's blew!

60' - 2.2 haha
1/4 - 12.8
trap - 115 :D w00t

i had a few 114-115 mph. i was very pleased. i'm thinking i may have around 360ish rwhp

I got my best 60' ever the first time to the track with my Z but I had some experience with my other Vette. I cut a 2.0 and ended up with a 12.6 at 110.8 mph. It was literally 100*F. You can't rev and dump; that will just liquify your tires. It's really difficult to explain but if you go to corvetteforum.com and search for posts by Ranger in the Z06 section you will find the best tips available for drag racing a Corvette. He has pulled 11.8s out of a bone stock car. I would love to go this coming friday if anyone else want's to. I don't have to work till close so I could make it there by about 7:00.

yeah, of coarse not. hell i couldn't do that in the gti. what i did was rev it to about 2200-2300 and then let out aggresively but not drop it. looking at the tips on the boards that seems to be the correct method but the problem is i'm just not use to the car yet.

Dang.

If I can perfect leaping out of the ITR into the red hatch once I get past the 60' mark we might have ourselves a race. :P

seriously, we should go from a roll. that would be sick
