1.BillyT, the guy with the most powerful 1.8t so far in a MK4 finally blew his motor. It was a good run while it lasted, 430whp for over 2 years and 460whp for the past 2 months. The motor blew on 26psi while spraying a 50shot. 400whp seems to be the highest whp amount the motor can take and still be daily reliable with a good tune. Billy isn't the first person to blow a motor.......many people have blown them with bad tunes, or spraying 100shots on top of 28lbs and such. Billy is the first person to have the motor fail just because of its weakness, not because of tuning, or a huge shot, or bad gas. Mixed feelings, glad we got a general baseline, sad that the beast has died. Oh well, he has a built 1.8t ready to go into a MK2(2400lbs if that) that should handle 30+psi and N02 on top of that......should get interesting.
