This Sunday they are holding autocross in Dothan (only 2hr away). It is only $15 for AS MANY RUNS AS YOU WANT!!! My friends went last time and got over 20 runs in (they were taking it easy too). It is held at the airport. There is NO late registration and NO tech inspection. All you do is show up, pay your money, and run till you heart's content.

As an extra bonus I'll let anyone who comes drive my car on a few laps (not saying that anyone wants too but the oppurtunity is there). This should keep the " I don't want to beat on my car" excuses to a minimum.

So that means you can go pay $15 and drive someone elses car around on an autocross course all day long. They also allow passengers to ride.

I have video of the course as well if any are interested. Its very big and very long.

If I don't go up to Huntsville to put some one in check Sat night, I'll cruise up there w/ ya. That is ifyou have an open seat.

No prob. Oh and another great thing is that it starts at 12pm so we wont have to leave until 9-10am unlike Birminham where I head out about 6am which sucks.

Just found out that you can "practice" on the other runways in case you are scared of cones. That basically means you drive around doing whatever you want.

Dude, if you had given some earlier notice, I would have gone. But now I've got too much stuff to do. It sounds awesome though. If they have one of these again, I'll be all over it.

Turns out I had to work this Sunday too. :roll:
