Plenty of us have seen the insides of a rotary engine. Heck, Sam must have half a dozen laying around his shop. It's not really all that obscure.

On a serious note, is there anyone on this site that DIDN'T know it was a rotor?? I am curious because I thought everyone knew what they looked like....

I hope so. Its the only engine that looks like a triangle I tried to draw it pre-school. I think that shape is called an epitroid or something like that.

You'd be surprised at how many don't know what that is.
Even when people come over to my house and see them apart (after they have seen pictures on the net or what not), they still don't know what it is.
