The vid everyone has been waiting for, not necessarily against an ss but of the new Z06.

First run was basically na the ss for some reason only sprayed fuel the nitrous did not engage.

I forgot to mention the shot in Primobro's car is a stage 3 srt-4, pretty decent to pull a z06 with a rental

cool vid. that Z06 is bad ass!!!

ON TO MY PROBLEM: is it just me or does this race not make any sense?

2006 Z06
505 HP 470 TQ stock
3130 lbs
longtube headers/exhaust/nitrous

2001 camaro SS
325 HP 350 TQ
3440 lbs
cam/bolt ons/nitrous

and teh ss pulls 1.5-2 cars on the z06?? does it have heads too? either this, or the ss has every bolt on possible with a much bigger nitrous shot than the z06.

BTW: i'm not bieng partial i just don't see it going down like this. i don't know :confused:

"Z06 was spraying 100-150 hes inconsitant about telling us what he was spraying, but after the race the Z06 engine light was blinking and sounded like shit, thats what happens when u dont break a car in proper, spray on the stock plugs lol"

Go neon. That video is crap though, well not the video as much as the background on the cars and what actually happened. I want to see a stock Z06 going up against a few things.

Z06 and a SL65 would be a good race.

yeah i just read all 13 pages and they said something was wrong with the vette during the race and its in the shop now.

btw: it looked like the str and the z06 where DEAD EVEN to me. why do you say he pulls teh z06

Meh, don't really care if the car worked or not, I couldn't believe how good the Z06 looked rolling. I wasn't 100% fond of the look, but wow...

"In person" - those fenders and the general side profile (even the front) looks incredible. It looks so sleek and futuristic - it looks, well, UNAMERICAN its so good, yet it still has the corvette heritage. It just looks so much better than previous corvettes IMO (save classics).

In other words, I love the look of the new Z06.

Note: Mike your car is still of course, the balls. Maybe one day I can get a ride in it :) :rolleyes:

your right, it is definetly the sexiest and best vette yet. the design looks absolutly european but like you said it kept the vette style. I watch a 1 hour special on the design process of the c6 on discovery and the lead designer of the c6 body was the lead designer for cadillac. i can definetly see how they made it look more up to date with the european style. the designer said he was scared to death about reveiling teh non pop up head lights. i love it.

The check engine light was on and flashing indicating missfire on the second run anyway. :D

kinda sux??? this is the worst vid i think i have ever seen!!!!:O i mean they showed 2 minutes of night a taillights standing still. they should take this vid off the internet. then you can't ever see the race or tell how close it was because you are standing a 1/4 mile away
