I'm psyched, just drove the tank off of the lot this afternoon
1995 Dark Green Metallic Chevy Tahoe
2 Door
4x4
5 Speed (freakin sweet :D )
5.7L V8
Lift
Oversized wheels/tires
Alpine CD player
Dual Flowz'
Overall the car is really clean, especially for a 10 year old offroad truck. I cant get over how big it is, I mean its HUGE. As soon as I drove off the lot I went to a gas station... and put in 67 dollars in gas :( Oh well, insurance is cheap and maintence is easy. And I get to run stuff over :D Gotta get new tires this week and get a tag. Who's ready to go muddin? :O

Cool, 2 doors are hard to come by sometimes.
I've never been a fan of the panel wagon rear doors for vision (or functionality), but it looks really good.

Wow, you found something bigger than your whale? :) Well at least you can tow Aspeeders that have battle wounds. How much you pay for it?

Yeah, cant really see much out of the back. There's a big bar in the way and the windows are tinted really dark but I freakin love the side opening doors.
This may shock you guys but it really weighs more than the VR-4 :O SERIOUSLY
428 Fox, STFU, its still lifted :P I didnt know they were offered in 5spds either so I was psyched to find that when I saw the truck for the first time

Did it come with croakies?? :D
Im totally kidding. You've gotta bring it tommorow, i really want to see this thing! I was surprised to see you got a huge v8. I expected your beater to be something more along the lines of a 4 banger Ford Ranger. Very nice choice, Rob!

Rob, don't even think about encroaching on my territory.
Seriously though, we have got to get those nasty wheels off that thing and get the stockers back on.

Awww I thought we could be friends or something :(
I didnt like the wheels at first but they kinda grew on me. MY TRUCK DAMNIT :P

The wheels wouldn't be so offensive if the offset wasn't so damn wrong. Get that shit at least close to being within the fenders. Either that or throw on some wide flares, otherwise mudsling is going to rip the paint off.
Still a neat truck, I always liked that color, just couldn't live with the frequent washings that it would need.
I'm a bum when it comes to a dd.
Awesome find but the thought of filling it up would make my testicles retreat to my abdominal cavity.

whats that supposed to mean...j/k again. although a 4 banger ford ranger would've been a great vehicle, as far as a daily driver goes. too bad you didnt get one cause then you could buy the superchips chip that i had on mine that im trying to sell on ebay.

Seriously though, a 5 speed 2 door Tahoe is a very sought after car. If you cleaned it up I bet your could turn it and make some money off of a begging high schooler.

This was another part of my thinking when I bought it... if I decide I cant afford gas/tires/whatever it would be an easy sale to get rid of it, especially in Auburn. As it sits now, its extremely clean. Its fun to drive too :D A much different kind of fun from the VR-4, which is probably a good thing. I'm happy with it
I'm happy with it
In the end thats what matters. Bringing it to the meet tonite? Any plans for a twin super-60 install? ;)

mike and i can show you a couple of good mudding spots. one of which get progressively more difficult as you go where you can start with a regular 2wd truck then you get into some stuff where a 4wd truck with all terrain tires are needed, then you get into some stuff where you need 4wd and a mud tread, then you basically need a jeep with a huge lift and 38's. some of yall might know where it is. its way out in tuskeegee (not where the shooting range is).

there are trails EVERYWHERE around auburn.. just go out driving, find a dirt road, and you'll be sure to find some. of course, some of them are on private property, but thats not really a problem.
