What would you do?
I got put in a situation where i had to move out of my house on short notice, so i moved in with some friends of mine thinking everything would work out ok. When i moved in the house was completly worse than this, but i cleaned every part of it that day, needless to say its not been cleaned since.. What would you guys do if everyday u had to come home to this after working 12 hour shifts?

I came home today to find the toilet had be previously used, and not flushed...... For the total time ive lived here, i can assure you, ive used the toilet 2 times.

Why don't i clean it up you ask? Becuase i don't fee like i should have to clean up behind two grown men. They are there mostly ALL day long. They get home around 11pm and don't go back to work until 4-5 the next day. That should be plently of time for TWO guys to clean this up. AT LEAST TAKE OUT THE TRASH, DONT THROW IT IN THE KITCHEN FLOOR !!!! Im at my wits end, i cant move out at the moment becuase my funds won't allow that, and mvoing in with my mom in not an option... The only other thing i can think if is find another roommate (which is hard) or salvation army. Leaning more towards and army.

Simple solution. Move all your shit into your own room, and padlock the bathroom and your bedroom. Tell them when they can act like humans, you'll share your shit with them.

If it was my apt and i was on the lease i sure would do that, but ther is only one bathroom, that i dont use. I shower at my moms house out of fear of whats in the bathroom, if i have to piss and i cant make it to my moms house (about a mile away) i do so outside. Im about to move my TV into my room with big ass deadbolt on the door. It wont stop them from acting like savages. The bad thing is they they actually invite people over to spend the night and shit with the house looking like that!!!! I couldnt do that.

I mean at any age after 16 we (guys) feel that our parents are the worst people to have to live with but sometimes we just have to get our pride out of the clouds for a little while. That is some ridiculous stuff there and they should be ashamed of themselves although some just don't care.

I could deal with dirty for the most part, but that is just straight up filthy. Im going to have a talk with them when they get home in about an hour, if i come home tomorrow to find the same shit, i dont' see me living here come next monday.
As far as the TV goes, its more of the fact that at my moms i have no place to keep it, her apt is pretty small. If i go back to her place, id be more than happy to let someone use it until i could get it back, as long as if they broke it they agreed to replace it. I payed 999 for it about a year ago, so i guess maybe its worth about 600 or so now. I don't mind letting someone use it but if it gets broken, i need to know im not going to be fuxxored!

yes. dumb shit its like you wake up one day and go downstairs to get a glass of water and your like "what the fuck did he do??" And he steals shit from me and argues about it already being his. How can you argue over shit thats still on my credit card bill?? Fucking retarded. I think hes done so many drugs in his life that he doesn't even realize whats his and whats mine.. Plus sometimes he forgets to shower and smells like indian food.

Well I had roomates just like that, maybe worse, :o , my last semester. I had my own room and bathroom and so I just didn't make any messes but didn't clean up any either. I had my own bathroom though so I could always just go hang out in my room (even though it was tiny).
Sometimes it was disgusting but it was cheap and I worked all the time or was travelling looking for a job after graduation so, I just dealt with it.
I don't know what kinda reaction you were trying to get; I mean that's gross and I am cleaner than that but its a college town and I'm sure there are worse places out there.

The plus side is that when their women come into town they clean it, so I don't worry about it as much. Personally I need to clean my room... MASSIVELY. I never really cleaned up/fully moved in since I was planning on moving to Atlanta every other semester... now that I know I'll be in Auburn full-time for 2yrs I have more encouragement to keep the place spic and span (at least as far as my room and bathroom goes).
I'll eventually whip my roommates into shape... slowly but surely. The main problem is that one of my roommates and his brother (they are both good friends) have a habit of just chilling in the common room and leaving their trash out.

Eh? Not really... I clean up after the cats all the time... sweep the kitchen, mop it, and vacuum. But with D2 and (especially) David coming over all the time and their refusal to do dishes or throw shit away in the trash it gets messy REALLY quick. I don't even set foot in the kitchen and it's a fucking car bomb in there... like somebody went jihad or something. I'll admit my room could be a fuckton cleaner, but I'm actually buying furniture and shit this weekend so I can put my stuff somewhere instead of piling it up.

I guarantee you that an unknown strain of bacteria was growing in scott's bathroom....which was so filthy that a dusty bunny or two would roll by in the bathroom just while you were taking a piss ;)
But seriously, I know how you feel.....its a toss-up between trying to be clean and being the house maid. You'll figure it out.

Yeah, I did that to an old roommate once. Leave "trash" out like you were planning on keeping it, and I'll relocate it to your room for you. :D Another had a habit of leaving his fucking socks everywhere. Every six weeks or so he'd have to move the TV to find his collection. lol I'm glad this is a cheap ass town, I love living by myself. :cool:

I'm a typical male slob. I live by myself for the most part; the only person who can logically say anything to me about my lack of home cleanlyness is my GF, but she is busy with vet school all the time, so her place looks similar to mine ;)
That said with 3 folks living there, there is absolutly no reason for that place to look like a Waste Managment truck exploded. But whatever, sorry it looks like shit.

Rob and Tyler are good about staying clean. Im a wierd OCD cleanliness nazi; The kitchen I can bitch about and I keep my room very clean but some things like folding laundry I'm not that great at. Last year I had some half-way decent roomates, but I can attest for Ben's house...
his roomates are the end-all of disgusting bathroom procurers. I wouldn't even shit on the floor of that thing, it was so dirty. His kitchen also resembled a mexican restaraunte's washroom but I had to cook so I cleaned that.
Now if I could only get my current roomates to decorate. :D

I don't have a ferret, my room mate has the feret which shats upon anything and anywhere in the house. None of us are in college, were in trussville/centerpoint. The closest college to us is Jeff State which neither of us attend at the moment. It would be different if this wasnt an every day thing, even if it was a few times a week i could deal with it, and would probably clean it up no questions asked, but they will sit on the couch, eat something, kick the wrappers in the floor and continue to play Final Fantasy cause its the bestest game evar!!!!1one All i want is for them to take as much pride in the home we share as i do. He had a maid at home (literally) and didn't think there was any possible way that he could make a mess. Lets just say that it ended up with him moving out due to...uh physical interaction...er agressive negotions.

Albiet, it really wasn't out fault. We held parties 3-4 times a week and there simply was no time to clean up b/twn drinking and being hungover. Those pictures are nothing compared to wandering downstairs at noon and finding the smoke machine still running, cig butts in the microwave, a stripper passed out on the couch, and so many beer cans on the ground you couldn't see floor.

One of my roomates last semester moved in the first week it was fine, the 2nd week he alone trashed the place then I went home he had a party. I get back, when I pull up trash is all in the front and back yard, the patio had cig burns on the wood, beer bottles everywere. I open the door it smelled like a smoke filled bar with about 6 dead people in it. Some one had vomited in my fuck microwave wtf. I drag his out of bed and tell him to start cleaning he pittles around for 2 or so hours and doesnt do much it stays like that for 3 or so days because I was busy. On the 3rd day I come home its still a mess he is in class. I call a buddy of mine and we threw all of his shit on the curb/street. I think someone has some pic of it if I find um I will post it.

I don't have a problem with frat boys as long as they're not faggots. I've had 2 frat boy roomates. I saw one today and he's developed a really sweet beer belly! The other one (from my freshman year) I talk to everyonce and a while. They were cool as well as their buddies that came over. I never had a problem and they were both neat. As far as the ferret shit goes. I saw it in the pics from the get go. I knew exactly what it was seeing I've had 2. I had to kill (put to sleep) both of them seeing that one came down with cancer and the other with diabeties. It sucked : (
