Gt-40r's require alot of wastegateing when running 30+ psi.

That's not a GT40. That's a GT42, at least the compressor housing is. 2 wastegates because they're using tiny little bitsy ones. If they stepped up from the little 38mm they could get away with one, like say a HKS GT2 60mm. There are advantages, though, but I wouldn't do it.

Nice, looks just like mine. :)

:)
Actually, I just confirmed we use the exact same parts. :D
Its a GT42R and they are using twin wastegates b/c the turbine housing on the GT42 is divided and to properly bleed air off properly you need to bleed from both sides. The wastegates are 38mm I believe.

Or connect the two sets of inlet runners like this manifold:

Not worth the trouble since there is hardly any space w/ that turbo in there.

I just read this and found it really funny. Allow myself to introduce.....myself. :owned:
<-????, doesn't get it.
So everyone will be happy, the wastegates bleed the fluid, not "air"..........there.

well part is um.. "air". Well, it used to be. :P
Hmm, I should just run a BOV on my header! WORD.
I was being generic and was not concerned w/ proper terminology. Apparently everyone else on here was.
