Ran tonight at the track and had some decent results although better times were def. there. My best time on the night was a 12.603@106.54mph w/ a 1.786 60'. The pass was going great but I ended up hitting the rev limiter in 2nd which ended up killing me on the latter half of the track. I found out that my shifting is REALLY effecting my mph. This was my last run of the night and the gearbox was getting really notchy. My 3rd to 4th shift was slow as crap just to ensure that I got in. My best mph on the night was 108.01mph MISSING SECOND GEAR. I tried to nail second and it just straight didn't go, so I recovered as best I could and got back in it and ran a 13.197@108.01mph w/ a 1.880 60'. My BEST pass on the night was going to no doubt be my second pass. I hit a 1.819 60', which wasn't my best 60', but I was BANGING the gears........until it came time to hit 4th. I know b/c my mph was 3mph faster on this run in the 1/8th than my 108mph run and 1mph faster than my than my 12.6 run. On this run, I trapped 87.91mph in the 1/8th, which was also 1mph faster than Greysons 12.5@109.5mph(his new best). I was on my way to a wicked time and mph and then I COMPLETELY missed 4th gear.....just straight didn't go in, stupid mitsu gearboxes. Anyways, I ended up w/ a 12.792@105.59mph :(. I think my next mod will be a stainless steel clutch line to get rid of that restrictor that delays clutch engagement.......hopefully it will let me pound the gears like I could in all my other cars. Oh yea, all runs are on pump gas. BTW, the track was so slippery that you couldn't even smell my clutch after 4 runs.....a feat nearly unheard of.
