View Full Version : Turbo + no air filter = bad

I was driving down the road, minding my own business. Gave it a little gas and then let off. Car is stuck at 3k rpm. pulled off the road, didnt see any vaccum lines out of place. Figured something was stuck in the TB. yep...teflon tape. Fuck teflon tape and its mama! Removed the teflon and all is fine in boostland.

Yeah, definately not the smartest thing too do when running turbo. A majority of people would at least run some type of screen over it.

I've got the screen from my old MAF that I'm not using. It may be too big in diameter (i think 3"). You're welcome to it if you want.

Thanks for the offer, but i found some hose at NAPA that did the trick
