lol good point. Actually there is no muffler right now. I will be installing one next month though. If you give me $800 then I'll buy a sweet dual exhaust! :)


So, I take my car out for a drive tonight since the weather was so nice. I'm on samford headed toward shug, I floor it in 2nd, wind it all the way out and get into 3rd for a second. I slow down since cops can probably hear me for miles. Then a couple seconds later I see a car coming up behind me, I see the infamous lights flip on. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, I expect to get a ticket from time to time. However I just got a ticket up in NC on thanksgiving.
Cop walks up, tells me he heard me 'racing my engine' but he didn't clock me, although he said he thought I must have been speeding. :rolleyes: He goes back to his car. I wait for a few minutes, then he walks up and tells me my tag is expired! Damnit!! So he gives me a ticket for the tag and says he won't be giving me a ticket for racing my engine. Actually his words were "showing a display of muscle, energy, or force". lol He said he could give me a ticket for that and it would suspend my license, and my insurance would skyrocket. He also said he gave me 'the deal of the century'. I should have told him about Mike's 100+ mph incident. haha

This whole racing your engine law is ridiculous. Someone in a stock car could race their engine all day long because you wouldn't be able to hear it! I need about four mufflers and two cats and I'll be set!! :rolleyes:

From now on I think I'm going to stick to driving on back roads. My car's too damn loud for city driving.

Just called to find out how much the ticket is. $117!! Fuck!

I was looking on the DMV's website and noticed that some countys send out notices to register your car but some don't. So because our local government is too cheap to send out a fucking notice I have to pay them $117! Plus I have to pay for registration which is what $50?
Guess no one will be getting any christmas presents from my broke ass!

On another pleasant note, my exhaust manifold is warped and one of the nuts snapped off. So I have to pull everything off again! Which is a bitch on my car to say the least! Plus if I snap a stud and can't get it out, then I have to pull the head! Woohoo!

Ok, I'm done ranting...
