All I can say is what idiot would allow that old man to walk around something like that with a mic? He had to be on crack...not enough though.
I love how he walks away almost crying.

There would have been an old man beatdown and blood on the pile of Jenga blocks.
But yeah, WTFH was he letting him do by walking around with a corded mic. "Bitch you better stay on that x on the floor 4 feet away from my Jenga tower.."

That really sucks. For some reason it does seem kinda fake though, at least the old mans reaction did. However, I don't see how you could fake building the little tower of pisa with Jenga blocks.

Seems almost certainly fake... the reactions aren't real. The only thing I can't figure out is why someone would take the time to build something like that just for a joke. Maybe they were already going to knock it down anyway and decided to make a joke of it.

You know I was kinda thinking the very same thing...if I had just shattered someones hopes and dreams and was trying to express enough anquish over it I would have said mroe than gee I just don't know what to say.
Me thinks you may be onto something.
I think it's real, but that's just me.
Or, another theory is: it was a real project, but time came to knock it down and they set up this little fake interview with the intent of recording it for humor value on the internets.

I was thinkingit may be fake because the old guy even had a little smirk on his face.

Leaning Tower of Pisa filmed coming down (Mar, 2005)
(be patient as it loads - it takes about 30 seconds before you can view it)
Noteworthy: This film has been linked to and / or added to other websites. Three notable websites are "Compfused.com", "IFILM.com", & "Break.com". I've been receiving a number of emails from urban legend websites that want to know if this was a staged event (17 Jan 06). I was asked by one of the production teams that do the VH1 countdowns if they could use this footage for their Junk Websites countdown. I said they could (17 Jan 06).
This is from the website... its hard to tell if it's fake, but the full video is on this page.

EDIT ~ It's fake. That guy has a website here: http://cara-jo.net/bryant/index.htm
Here's a quote from the Pisa Tower description
It was demolished by stringing a wire through the bottom of it which was hidden out of view of the camera that was filming the event. When 'interviewer' Mike Roy stepped around it with his microphone cord the wire was pulled to make it collapse.

It is certainly staged after seeing those photos. There's a fence around it. Why would they take it down for an interview? There's the 'live' thing in the corner to make it look like it's live, but what kind of station would bring that to you live? Absolutely staged.

This guy is awesome with the jenga blocks, pretty bored obviously but good nonetheless.

Yep, I figured the same thing with the live thing.
