I'm heading up to the Nopi Store in Atlanta on Saturday, if all goes well. I'm planning on getting Brembo slotted rotors (brembo does make stuff for mitsubishi  , finally I find this out), Brake pads, NGK wires, and HKS spark plugs. If anyone is interested in going or needs anything from there, let me know. Also, SCAR has a really good discounts set up with them if your a member, so since I'm driving my ass all the way up there take advantage!

slotted rotors are a waste of money.....spend it somewhere else...just get the blanks...and don't buy if it says bendix...it is a fake brembo company....i learned that the hard way....look on the outside edge of the rotor and look for brembo....if it doesn't say it it's a fake...fyi powerstop and powerslot rotors are brembo oems that they have cut into....so they will say brembo on the edge...but they will warp b/c they have bad methods of cutting rotors....
nopi does not carry shit for brake pads.....aem is their top of the line pad...do not buy aem's unless you are looking for stock brake pads that don't dust....if you want more bite aem's are garbage...if you want some good pads get with me and i will hook u up with the DL on brake pads...i've been researching it for the past year....
lastly.....if you are looking for other stuff for your brakes....you might consider getting a set of stainless steel brake lines....but be careful with these above all ....b/c a set of improperly manufacturered brake lines will turn into your brake pedal sinking to the floor at the wrong time....ONLY GET NEUSPEED OR GOODRIDGE...there are more expensive ones but i'm sure NOPI won't carry them....
if you have any questions about any of the stuff just give me a holla on my cell....
edit: after rereading i may have come off as an ass...didn't mean or intend to ....i was just trying to get my point across....give me a holla if you have any Q's

Damn Wiggie, always have to ruin my car projects  , J/K :D . I can trust your advice so I'll get the regular brembo's, the price difference was only like 5 bucks, but the last thing I want is warped rotors... I'm not really trying to get a huge performance gain with the new brakes, I just want something that is somewhat better than stock, without paying alot of money.

sorry man.....i was just lookin' out for you cuz i didn't want you to spend a bunch of money and be unhappy with it later...
i'm not sure if you wanted the advice on brake pads or not...but i'm going to give it anyway, beotch....first you get u a lift kit....j/p....
A really good setup that you will be very happy with is:
Brembo OEM rotors
Axxis Ultimates brake pads (front)
Mitsubishi brake pads (rear)
Goodridge brake lines
Valvoline SynPower (DOT 3 & 4)
You can get a good deal on the Axxis Ultimates from www.cobaltfriction.com Andie Lin is the owner and will take care of you. He knows his shit. Also, tell them you are from Honda-Tech.com and you will recieve a 15% discount on the Axxis Ultimates (deal only good till end of August). Valvoline SynPower can be bought at just about any Autozone or Advanced Auto. NOPI says they carry the rotors and brake lines. And I'll let you find the OEM brake pads.
Any more Q's, just let know!

I'll back Wiggie up. In terms of performance for the buck a nice upgraded street pad, fluid, and stainless lines are tough to beat. Heck a alot of Type-R owners who track there cars regulary just use cheapo Autozone brake rotors. They work great and don't cost anything.
Brake pads need to be considered with careful consideration. A full race pad will suck ace on the street due to its cold operating temperature and it will eat your rotors up in no time. Too cold of a street pad is only good for 1-3 hard stops before fading starts to occur. I recommend getting an upgraded street pad. I personally run Hawk HPS up front on the R. They are geared a little more toward street use but hold their own well. I've turned my whole braking system molten red with heat and had my pads catch on fire. No I don't mean sparking (that too) but actual flames and I was still able to haul the R down. I will be upgrading to a more racier pad next time but Hawk HPS would be a good start for you.
Also don't worry too much about your back brakes unless they are completely shot. The stock OEM pads should do fine.
