I know Sam has been a instructor for HPDEs at TGPR, and I think he had said something about doing it for this one.

I'm not sure what routing they will use at Barber; I would assume that it would be the full track as that is what the Porsche school, and most of everything else I have seen out there use.

I'd get registered as soon as possible cause that one is going to be popular.

Registration is now open for the Alabama Region SCCA's High Performance Driving Experience (HPX) which will be held on Saturday, April 15th at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala. Novices and non-SCCA members welcome. Early Registration is $250 (by March 31st) and $275 after March 31st. We encourage early entry. Credit Cards or checks are accepted.
The event goal is to give each run group four 25 minute sessions (100minutes of track time). Sorry no convertibles (but a miata with a hard top is fine or a car with a retractable hardtop). In-car instruction will be provided with open passing in the advanced group. Begin registration by going to http://www.myautoevents.com for the event which is listed as:
http://www.myautoevents.com/pl...25079 (http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmEventDetail.Show?psevent_id=4770&psrnd=.01314595374658312689891564511756829153)
(myautoevents charges a small processing fee)

The entry packet which is linked at my autoevents.com can be found at the following link to answer any questions on additional details, rules, and forms to be submitted:

Barber Motorsports Park is one of the premier road racing facilities in North America with its technical layout and constant elevation changes. The track is easy on the tires too. For track details go to http://www.barbermotorsports.com

We are looking for qualified instructors. There is a small fee for instructors of $50. Potential intstructors should sign up at myautoevents.com and fill out the instructor application packet to advise us of your qaulifications. We expect the instructor group to fill up quick.

This is an awesome price for a track event at this facility. Entries are limited. Hope to see you there!!

Ditto
Spring break has depleted all my funds. That and I really need to buy some tires for the volvo. They're starting to get a little scary.
