I dont know yet if it was like this before, or if something bad happened to the oil feed on my car.

Oh yeah, razor sharp blades backed by 10+lbs of iron falling on your finger = pain and a bloody mess.

Holy Shit

I can't think of any other words to describe it...

There really must be something in the water....
Too many people's cars are breaking recently....

Ooowwee!!! :( Dude, that really sucks. Did your oil feed line clog or was it just already screwed up?

more than likely it was already that way, if the feed clogged (highly unlikely, as there's a screen on the oil pickup and then the oil filter) the turbo would have locked up.

It doesn't look too bad, new seals and bearings and he should be on his way again

removed distributor today. I thought it would be a lot harder than it was. If anybody needs a distributor removed, id be glad to do it for $100.

I could have gotten a rebuilt one for $180 w/core. F*** me!

nah, its always a good learning experience when something dies. I was afraid of taking apart the turbo. Opened it up and it was no big deal. Same goes for the distributor.

im kinda glad that the distributor and radiator broke, im about to drive 800 miles round trip, so those problems probably would have left me stranded.

Shouldn't you change your avatar to something more closely resembling your car's current condition? (i.e. not moving ;) :D )
