As some of you might know, the lude has been dormant for over a month. For the first time in my 7-8 years of driving a honda, it left me stranded on the side of the road. The oil light was on. It was cold..and i had to pee. After a bunch of shit, i got it home and left it there while i was on vacation.

I got back a couple days ago. During vacation i had my suspisions about the oil pump (which still might be bad, who knows) becaues the last time i started the car, it felt over-loaded

Now it seems that the turbo is messed up. I took it off (for like the 50th time and it never gets easier) last night. its got a major seal leak or something.

If i plug up the oil return and blow into the oil feed, air easily goes out the exhaust side. I asked around on different boards and kenny and it was unanimous that this was not good.

I called Turbo Specialties and talked to Reid (cool guy). He said to ship it to him and they would fix it and return it ASAP, shipping covered. Im shipping it out at lunchtime today. So I'll know something in the next 10 days. It sux0rz not having a car.

Wish me luck. Im toying with the idea of getting a beater car. Im going to look at an 83 Accord Hatchback on Friday.

I'm feeling you there. :( Hopefully the awd will be up and running with in a week, but just depends on weather, school, and work. Lots of variables...

Well, After not receiving a call when i was supposed to, I called Turbo specialties to get an update on the turbo.

I spoke to a guy there that disassembled it and he says the whole thing is toast, the cartridge AND both wheels. Now...something isnt right here. It has only 4.5 miles on their rebuild and balance that cost me $150!!!

I also remembered that they warrantied it for 1 year, so we'll see what happens. The owner is supposed to be calling me shortly.

Owner of the shop never called me, so I sent him an email last night. Its noon today and no reply yet. I was supposed to get a call from him around Tuesday.

He told me on the fone last saturday that he'd fix the turbo and send it back the same day. I hate it when they tell you one thing and something completely different happens :(

GODDAMMIT. i called today and asked for Reid "He'll be here in 30-45 minutes", so i called back in an hour and asked for him and the guy that answered the phone says hes not there. I think he's there but avoiding me or something. ARGHGHGHGHGHTGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of this BS is making me consider putting the lude back to stock, dropping in the h23 and switching hobbies :(

We all go through this shit man. It sucks, but hang in there. I didn't have my car for 8 weeks last summer because my stupid tranny problems. But now I can drop it and put it back in, in 5 1/2 hours. Shit will get better. Atleast you'll know where not to bring it next time.

Seems that the lack of communication what at least in-part due to an email problem. His email server is ban-happy and blocked @hotmail.com addresses. Im currently in communication with the owner dude, so everything is looking better now, even your mama

Man, that freakin carb rebuild kit is 90 PIECES!!!!!! not to mention that it didnt include 1 part that broke on the other part. And it was a rubber part, so im pissed.

Oh yeah, those plugs that i ordered, only 3 came in. HAHAHA, gotta pick up the other sometime this week.

so long story short, the carb is in about 4 parts right now, just have to dsassemble the other 94 parts.
