This can be deleted as soon as I get some responses or locked. But I need some suggestions.

I'm driving to Auburn right now, all the Atlanta radio stations are crappy static. What's a good rock/alternative station? Or any for that matter.

WHAT?!?!?! There's rock stations in Auburn?!?!? :O

I've lived in Auburn for two years now and I haven't found anything that plays good solid rock, only shitty stations that play pop, hip-hop and some rock...

That's why I got Sirius and is also why I listen to my favorite Florida station while I'm at work. Both play awesome rock all day with no pop-crap or hip-hop

Sorry I have no suggestions... I think there's a station in the 98 band that plays good stuff sometimes

I don't know any of the stations so I couldn't tell ya... I used to scan through the entire FM range a few times before I just stuck a CD in and gave up. Since I got Sirius 6 months ago I never listen to FM unless I'm in my gf's car, but all she listens to is hip-hop, so I just try to read and ignore it.

Well I'm 2 miles outside of that Opelika place and I'm still picking up an Atlanta station.

Yep, that's the one. And might I add, that's one hell of a boring drive...not to mention the abundance of deer you guys have on the side of the road. But it was fun nonetheless. Thanks for all the replies.
