Man, all kind of shit was different on the fwd! Motor came in and out 3 frickin times. One of the things was the plate between the trans and block. FWD/AWD use different ones. Then after thats taken care of and we put it back in, the motor is sitting an inch farther forward than it should be. So then we had to change the engine motor mounts that bolt to the block. Its bolted in now, a good bit of shit is hooked up. I'm about to go get the axle I ordered and get the bottom buttoned back up before class and work today. I still got to run the wires for the EGT, and tie the VPC in, and hack some of the chassis to fit the intercooler piping. I get off at 4pm Friday, and will work on it after that (I think, but might want to get with someone too, its been a while heh been working on this bullshit car in all my free time this past week)and I don't go in till 1 on Saturday (but depending on what I do Friday depends if I work on the car Sat or not.) I'd say the car is a good 4 hours away from running. Thats 4 productive hours, not just 4 hours! Theres a big difference. :D I've been slacking lately. :?

Hey Adam, why don't you stick all the posts that have to do with my car in another topic, I don't like bombarding on good 'ol Jess's post.
Well, got a lot done this morning before class and work, it goes as follows:
Well, long story short, shit didn't go right last night, I got pissed off and gave up, Jerry, Rusty Chris, and John stayed at it for a while (thanks guys). After taking the motor out several times for several different reasons, we finally got it bolted in last night. This morning I went out and finished hooking everything up w/ the exception of the intercooler and piping. I got the axles in, tcase on, shifter cables buttoned up, all cross members up, tightened down the motor mounts etc. Just have to stick the radiator in and hack up some metal to get the intercooler piping to work. It should be on the road soon.
Anyone have a sawzaw I could borrow? I'm going to try and use my angle grinder w/ cutting wheel, but don't think that is going to cut it. Not enough room.
Thanks again for the help guys, I just wasn't in the mood last night when I needed to be. Once its all done we can have a cook out here again.

Motor is in car now, just having issues with VPC wiring and fuel pump, not getting over 28psi at idle, dies if you give it any gas. :? I know what I need to do, just got other fun things to do right now. :D

Will be going to the track Friday. Don't know what to expect, it might not even get "tuned" by the end of the night.
Im the first to reply, so i get the first ride. thats the rule. I made it up
Now... It was getting dark when I think I saw you...

Yea, you've seen it all now, but I figured I'd reply anyways. There were a few people still there when I left the meeting and I got on it a little bit. Felt pretty good going 0-45 safely in an EMPTY parking lot. :D
Since I've been told that APR doesn't like to have cars on their Dyno's that out perform them :D... Does anyone know of a 4-wheel dyno around here... I really wanna see some numbers on it
APR won't let ANYONE on the dyno other themselves whether they out perform them or not.......besides, the 911TT still makes more at the wheels
Edit: I was told the car made 478whp on the front track, AWD will sap up some more of that, but I am sure that this car makes close to 500whp on race and high boost...........very respectible. The 911TT makes 400whp stock, high 400's with a chip and exhaust, and 500's on race(don't know the exact number, so I am not going to throw BS around). Then again, it does cost $116k...

Haha, no. APR broke their 2WD dyno by letting some crazy TT 300zx get on it. Anyway, if the person who gives you your APR info drives a 1G DSM, its most likely shit

Nobody, it wasn't a cheap shot at anybody. Just seems there is some mis-information within that group.

I like the new E55 amg, 470hp with 500hp tq STOCK! Plus 4 doors.

Damn, im never gonna live that shit down. I took the turbos off the Z because um the DOT made me because they said that their roads were not compatible with the kind of numbers i was putting down and i was tearing up the roads and all kinds of shit, so i did. now look at it.

Yea, we put em on the volvo after that, and I swear the rear end sunk to the axles in asphalt when I eased off the clutch....
