Got a chance to test drive a black Z06 a few weeks ago. All I can say is that if I had 50k to spend on a car a Z06 would be in my driveway. This thing had unbelievable power that was accessible from almost anywhere in the power band. I was crusing at 10-15mph in 4th gear and it still had all the power a normal person could want. Full throttle in the proper gear was breathtaking. It felt like it could pull forever. The car also feels alot lighter than you would think and is very responsive. I was driving in traffic mostly so I didn't get to really flog it. My only gripe was with the shifter. It's very bulky and the shift knob is too big. The throws feel kind of indirect and I was having trouble getting it to go into gear when I was rev matching the downshifts. This transmission though is having to deal with a whole lot more power however so you can't expect it to have a Honda like feel. Overall an amazing machine.

Yep. In fact it was on the showroom floor so they had to open the glass to drive it out. My mom has mad dealership skillz. If that doesn't work I just go in and tell them that I have 80k to spend and I'm buying something.
