I just got back from CPR Fest in Biloxi, MS. As soon as I leave from getting gas on South College driving up in front of the musem, my clutch goes out with a pop. I'm guessing it's the Cluster Master Cylinder or the linkage.
If you pump the clutch you can get it to barely shift a gear, but now it's just engaged.

Anyone know of a good repair center that has toe? Or anyone that can lend a hand?

Just drive it to the repair shop. You don't need a clutch to drive. ;)

Start it in gear and go, match revs to shift.

I knew you could match rev but i didn't know if this would cause more probs... Repair shop?

Ok, so when the cars off it feels like the clutch just drops to the floor? But when you pump the clutch the firmness comes back and the engagement is better?

You could probably just look at the linkage to see if it's trash but unless you were raggin' (or rag on it alot)i don't think it'd be the linkage.

Just about any repair shop could do this (towing is always gonna be overly expensive no matter where you go). Just give us some more info on how its acting up and i'll do my best

Clutch goes all the way to the floor... I haven't ragged the car since a week before the trip. I was just goin down the road... it went *pop* and when I pressed the clutch it just went to the floor. I pumped it up and it came back for a gear shift and then lost it again when I tried to pump a second time. Now it goes to the floor and I can't pump it.

Ok, it's your Clutch Master Cylinder or Slave Cylinder. I don't know how mechanically inclined you are but you could replace this yourself if you have tools and know how to bleed a hydraulic system.

I know you don't have a g63, but this should shine some light on the situation - http://www.vfaq.com/index-main.html

Go to drivetrain, Replace Clutch Slave Cylinder. It's not as hard as you think.

I know there's tests you can do to see exactly which one it is, but you'd owe me a blow job for finding that

Cable clutch FTW :headbang:. No seriously, Im sorry to hear this but Im pretty good with hydraulics on that, bleedings no problem, you just need two people if you dont have the single person bleeder kit. I could maybe help if you need it. I re placed my whole brake system pretty much minus drums and rear drum pads (ohh damn I need to do that).

It was the slave... they had to ship it in from a dealer hence the even higher cost. I tried to find one myself but because I needed my car in a hurry, I couldn't get one fast enough for the same money. 50 for the tow, 100 labor, 150 part.
