Sears scratched my wheels - help

I took my car to Sears to get my Kumho's installed recently. They used a stem puller that looked kind-of-like a hammer. When using the stem puller they scratched my wheels around the valvestem area. I talked to the manager at the Sears Auto Center and he wants to buff the scratches out.
What do you guys think I should do? The scratches are deep enough to feel. I worried that the finish won't be the same after they buff the scratches out. Plus will the clearcoat finish be rubbed off??

why not see if they can buff them out, but if it is not satisfactory he still has to resolve the issue.
