Well, Mike you win. It was an M3, actually two of them. Wildkat and I went the dealership in ATL and ragged on em. I got to drive both the SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox) and the six speed. I got the 6 speed up to 133 then slammed on the brakes with ABS lockup until 60mph. Those are bad azz cars no doubt.

For all of you that think the SMG is an automatic, you are wrong. It's a Ferrari/F1 style gearbox that has a true clutch and gearbox. The computer sends a message to hydrolic levers that actuate the gearbox and clutch. It also will revmatch "PERFECTLY" on the downshift. It has settings from hard to soft, depending on how fast you want it to shift. On soft it's like a regualar automatic. On hard it shifts faster, than most any human can shift.

The M3's and M5's with the SMG trannies have a computer controlled neutral drop they can do (It's hidden) which will launch the car more perfectly than the best drag racer can launch a manual. I've met a guy at an Auto X who was throwing down .6 R/T's and 1.5 sec 60' times and also destroying the miatas and other "auto X killers". I doubt anything less than a modified DSM can do that. And other than that, BMW's technology is light years ahead of Chevrolet's. What's the Z06's Hp/Liter output? 70. And the M3? 107hp per liter. Not to mention that BMW only needs 6 cylinders to do it. To hell with the Z06. Sure it's still a nice car and they look great and could rape my car at the track but the M3 has a more classy look. My dad's got a 2000 C5 and he's waiting for the new M5's with the SMG tranny to come out so he can trade his car in. :D

When he got his car, it was an excellent price. The resale value on Integra's has gone down dramatically in the past two years.
Example: I bought my car two summers ago for 14,500. The blue book on it then was 17,500. A 2000 GSR now with around the same amount of miles (30k) is blue booked at around 14,000. 3,500 difference is alot in just one year.

When I wanted and got my first A4, there wasn't an Audi Stigma, hell over half the people who found out what kind of car I was getting didn't even know what the hell an Audi was :lol: When I said "A4" they thought I said "Eighty four," like that POS GM car from back in the day.
