I got a call from a salesman this morning from King Honda telling me that they got a six speed Accord in. I went right up there as soon as I got the message. It had just gotten off of the truck and was covered in plastic. They let me sit in it and she said I could come up there tonight and drive it. I don't think I am though. It has a wonderful interior and the gearbox is bad ass. It would be a hard choice between the Accord and my car. I know for sure it would blow mine out of the water. Hell, it traps like 98-99. The car is very plush and the seats are wonderful. It only has two problems:
1) They are marking it up four grand which comes to a total of thirty grand.
2) It's the only six speed they are getting the whole year.
3) Somebody is about to buy it I think.

Too bad it doesn't have an external antenna.....I'd go grab it to help make up some of the cost of the "market adjustment" :roll:
I'd still buy a Evo 8 over it :shock: .......its faster in all categories. I'd rather drive an ugly FAST car than an ugly quick car :D :wink: 8)

What gives, how come dealers are always calling you to let you when the get stuff in. They should start calling me...
I dont think I would buy a 30k accord, especially considering I think the new coupes are ugly. There are so many cheap fast cars on the market, it really isn't much of a deal.

Because I am a local and my famly has been buing cars from King and McConnell (in Montgomery) for years. They call upon request. :wink: :D

I'd rather drive in a car in class than a car that looks like ass!
But the new accord looks like ass...... :shock:, I mean, its an ACCORD for gosh sake, not a lexus or BMW....it isn't going to have that much more class than a EVO. All I am saying is $30k for an is stretching the the limits of the buyers they are trying to attract. While an EVO on the other hand, I think it would be WORTH the money much more. "Opinions are like"..........well, you know the quote. Then in the end, you can say "I drive an Evo 8, one of the most highly regarded AWD's out today with tons of press coverage that has people raving." Or you could say "yeah, I drive an Accord"

So does the EVO VII. Who gives a fuck how well it performs. Take Greyson's car for example. It's quick and fun to drive, but it carries class at the same time. I'm not saying that just because it's an Audi but it is a true statement. The Accord carries the same features. You may be able to blow people off of the road but who cares, I'd rather have class than a car that looks like ass. We all have out own personal opinions and that is mine.

I like the new Evo.....its a cool looking car. I'm not a fan of the new Accord in either coupe or 4 door iterations. They look bucktoothed: The 4 door has a droopy ass and the Coupe looks like a supository with ground effects.

The new Accord is by far one of the ugliest things Honda has EVER made, I would coat myself in vaseline and move to San Fransisco before I'd pay $30k for one.
Don't get me wrong, they are nice cars for a blind man to own. But the previous gen Accords were one of THE best looking coupes on the market, now they look like pure SHIT!

Well, I just got back from driving it and I must say it was fun. The handling wasn't anything special but it had gobs of torque. It's good for trap speeds in the high 90's for sure. It only weighs 3265. It will give the S2K a run for its money. Sometimes it's nice to drive a car and not have to drop a gear to merge into traffic. But I really liked it a lot. They are asking 28 for it.

I'm not comparing the two, I was just stating that the Accord could keep up with the S2000. Someone else brought up the Evo.

the accord looks like ass because it was designed by americans. I dont think its worth more than 24k.
