I am starting a poll for the ricest car in SCAR. I'm getting sick of people down talking each other when they usually have the ricer car. So if you want a car in the poll just PM that way we can keep the poll confidential. I need suggestions for cars!

All of the cars have been suggested to me by members. I added my car so no one could think I was being impartial.

I'm going to have to disagree here. Rice is not 'anything that is not needed or performance related'. There are tasteful aesthetic modifications that may be performed on some cars that would not be considered 'rice'. Not everybody is trying to build a race-bred performance machine. Some of us like going fast as well as looking good. Sometimes it's nice to have a full interior. :wink: That said; looking like you're fast without actually being fast, well, that's rice...

Apparently you missed the :wink:. You don't have a turbo yet and you don't have any times faster than 14.0@99mph so speaking in future terms is a little like counting chickens before they hatch.

I haven't built one yet but I can sure as hell drive mine better than 90% of the people I've met so that counts for something in my book. In fact on record I have what is considered one of if not the FASTEST Type-R times for my mods on record in the US if not the world. Oh and I'm not too shabby at auto-x either (cough cough second place first event ever cough cough beat other Type-R's with Mugen suspension and experienced drivers cough). What I'm saying is run what ya brung and don't let your car do too much talking. Oh and I'm an arogant bastard. Comes standard equipment with all Type-R's :roll: .

Bottom line is if you hadn't wasted money on a kit, rims, paint, and interior goodies you could have already had a turbo and could be speaking in present tense .

No I wouldn't have got a kit. I would have just got the rearend fixed and the car repainted to a nice factory color.

Bigger rims do not mean better handling. On Integra's the largest agreed rim size is 16's. There is not reason to get 17's unless it is for brake clearance on scat nasty race cars. With large diameter rims the rotational mass is set farther away from the center of rotation. This is a bad thing. 17's are also lowering your final drive ratio in the process. Know your facts before posting. If you want I can find a few pages on why NOT to get larger rims. 90% of your handling ability comes from your tires. With 15's I have the best all around performance tire made and I my set for $350 shipped.

My car has no mods and would probably win as far as least mods but would still walk the dog on you. This whole SCAR thing, down to the name, was something i started but i don't go around throwing that in your face. It is now a collective body as is the site. Agreed, my Cavalier was domestic rice. Shit nothing about that car was fast and i had five point harnesses and a fire extinguisher (hehe). There was stickers on the outside and a system in the trunk but i did care. I liked my car and thats what counts. I felt comfortable listening to my system as rocking silver vinyl as everyone repeatedly walked the dog on me. If you are comfortable enough to put a bike rack on your car, have a kit, half mirror tint (hehe, ghetto sheit, i wont mention any names...), a B16a1 that is crooked and has a clogged air filter (hehe) or racing seats in a car that ran 18s at the track, then to each there own.

IMO, If you do all of your "non-performance mods" in good taste, than that is not rice. But everyones opinion on "good taste" is different, which is why there hasn't been a real answer as to what defines rice and is the reason we keep bitching about all these cars.

Joe, the most mods doesn't mean the coolest (or fastest) car. When I have my stage 3 put on in a couple of months, I will have 3 interesting mods: 1. exhaust, 2. rims (look stock to most, but I like them), 3. Stage 3
