Well, i was happy with my best 12.79@107.2mph pump gas run. So i went to see what my 100oct map can do. My 100oct only gave me like 10whp, but the power curve from begining to end is better. My 12.79 run was full weight +30lbs of camping equipment. The 12.57 run was full weight minus spare and jack. The scale at silverdollar weighed me in at 3400lbs with me in it.

Slip
60- 1.75
1/8- 8.03
mph- 86.82
1/4- 12.57
mph- 108.97

Here is the dyno to show you just how little "peak" ganes i got from my 100oct map. Yet it still picked up .2 of a sec and 2mph. I am happy. :)

Run#1 Baseline pull with the Cobb Stage2 map

Run#5 TopSpeed Protuned 93 octane

Run#11 TopSpeed Protuned 100octane

What kind of software/hardware do you have to run seperate maps? That's a decent gain there.

How much did your Dyno runs cost you?

This is with the FMIC and coilovers installed? (Your cars a pig)

Wish I could have seen it. :(

Yes the coilovers were on, no the fmic was not on. The fmic got sold.:)

I am running a cobb accessport. Which has off the shelf maps, but allows you to get custom tuned, and run whatever map you want to run, whenever you want to run it. In this case i just loaded my 100oct map. I paid $350 to get two custom tuned maps, which ended up being 5-6 dyno runs.

Not a bad deal then to be able to swap between maps with the touch of a button.

Byrd - I don't think 3200 lbs was a pig especially with an AWD system (remember, it weighed in at 3400 with him in it). I would consider that somewhat portly for a FWD car though. Definitely not piggish.

Front and side impact airbags, 5 star front/side/rollover saftey rating, one hell of a strong 6spd manual backed by some pretty beastly axles. Most everything in my car is built to take some punishment(subaru wasnt fucking around when they say its rally inspired, go look underneath a grp-n sti rally car, most all of the chassis componets are the same).

So far, 60+ drag passes with 50 or more of those being below 1.9 60's. Completely stock drivetrain, including clutch with 40k on the clock. Not to many awd cars are that capable/relaible down the strip with so little.

Ill take the extra weight for those accutraments(sp?) any day.:)

That being said, nothing is unbreakable, and stuff that is supposed to be bomb proof can still break(robs vr4 driveshaft, for example).

My car was 2735 with full interior without me in it. :D

12.4's on the 100oct.:) I have already cut a 1.71, just need to put it all together. Prob going to finish porting my stock mani, maybe the extra 5hp will let me trap in the solid 109's. Mostly for this season, just paying some more off the car, set some money aside for the assorted auto-x and track day. Already have an extra set of tires.

Well it has a down pipe as well. TBE=turbo back exhuast, which includes the downpipe and the catback. But yeah, the #'s are pretty decent.

WWD mind you, so it is ~3200 lbs, not a beached whale at ~3800 lbs like the AWD ones.:D

Sadly...I guess FF does have some sort of advantage...I say this now...since I drive a 2200lb car and not a 3200lb car like before:D
