The vette is back on the prowl again. Still workin out some kinks with the new motor, but all in all it is running good. Got some new rubber under the shark. I went with supra 712s. Im still not sure whether or not to sell the car and go factory five. the vette is like a girlfriend that continuously breaks up with you but you keep running back because you know it will be better next time. I have become emotionally attached. I found out a few weeks ago that my dad has a muncie 4 speed just chillin at Bills(guy who use to race with my dad) so that would be a nice improvement over the 3 speed AUTOMATIC! Im debating on whether or not to spray. Seems like a great idea to me. I am already pretty well into the 13s. so it would be nice to have. The only thing i can really do now is turbo or supercharge the motor and nitrous is way cheaper. So i am debating. If i do, it will be the sniper plate system from nos. cheapest adjustable kit from 100-150hp. And no im not just gonna slap it on and not tune it. I have the components to do it so im not worried about that. Any thoughts? -(minus) brocks thoughts.

Big Brock got me. by a touch. but he got me....at the track its gonna be decided by who gets the jump...its just that close. He has to tune and so do i so im ready to see who will prevail. Me and Brock are supposed to go get dynoed sometime soon..i was planning on doin it this week but i cant get up with him.
As for the motor it is a 350 bored over .40 with a forged steel crank and hypereutectic pistons.

You have cast, hypereutectic, forged. hyper. is right there between cast and forged as far as strength goes. They have a little less silicon content than forged pistons but a good deal more than cast. They are all aluminum allow though.

I wanna find out if you can put a different fourth gear in so i could make the final drive like .8 or .65. something low so i could put my 4.11 gears back in.cus there is no way i can run them with a 1.1 final drive. Ive tried that. 4500 rpm at like 60 aint kickin on too much. I miss those bad boys tho.

What the freak are you talking about? None of those first 4 choices are even in a Corvette, actually I don't even think Chevy EVER produced such engines. Besides that how did you leave out the 327, 427, 302, and 289? Don't reply if you don't know what you are talking about.

Well if you wanna get technical, I don't think Chevy ever produced a 302 or a 289 either. Those are Ford motors.

Chevy had a 302 in the last 60's in the Camaro Z28. Either 68 and 69 or just 69, can't remember. 289 is a ferd motor.
