So my girlfriend's family has this old CJ7 that they just want gone. They told me that I can keep whatever money I can sell it for but I know nothing about these types of vehicles. Here is some info that was sent to me about the Jeep. Tell me what you think it is worth!

I also found out that the engine doesnt run because it lost compression, they think at worst it is a cracked head.

What do you think now?

2000 is a little high not running but those are the epitomy of rock crawlers and seems the setup is almost ready if it was running

I thought that rock bottom was a type of part or something since I dont think they care how much I sell it for

I'd see why it doesn't run first. Then, short of an engine rebuild, i'd spend a little to gain a lot.

There are a lot of offroad guys in B'ham that like to drive around out towards Bessimer. I'm not sure if rednecks like that are smart enough to use the internet but you could always try to find out if they have a forum like this.

LOL before anyone gets pissed I was kidding about the redneck part, but yeah I dunno if the offroad type are quite as into the 'net and technology as us ricers (as they would consider us) are. I love offroading too, lotsa fun.

Come to podunk GA where we combine ricers with rednecks. Wait for rain, pile a bunch of friends in your riced out civic and find a dirt road (won't have to search long), then do 75 slide it sideways and pray those bushes on the side of the road are thick enough to keep you out out of the woods..

I say an easy 2-3k

it would be about 1200$ to get a CHEVY 8 running in that hoe

The one that is in their probably just needs a new head to get in running, man I wish I was there to actually take a look at the thing!

I'd say price it around 4k and see if you get any takers. Work your way down from there if need be
