Going to get them in silver, gunmetal just doesn't flow with the look of my car(i.e. grocery getter). Going for 17x8, they weigh 15.5lbs per wheel in that weight and cost mid/low 300's depending on source. I don't know if I should go 18" or not, they weigh 17.2lbs/wheel in that size and I can fit APR's or one of the other 13" rotor kits behind them without spacers. They should fit behind 17's with spacers, so that will be what I do if I(will probably) go with the 17's.

I read in the plainsman that APR got some fiske rims and a stage 3 stolen from their shop. Whats up with that?

Ehhh there ok, but kinda plain. You should get the new Enkei F1 inspired wheels. THose are dope!

Known about them for 10000000000000000000000 years, but you just now can get them in silver, which is what I am after. Clint, I am after plain wheels, I don't want rims that keep spinning after I stop...why? Because I am not rice, I like nice looking, tasteful wheels...not white wheels or chrome wheels or gold wheels or any other color other than anthracite or black(black only works on some cars). In the VW/Audi world, Enkei sells very few wheels....they don't fit our cars, besides, from the car I drive, you can't be concerned with what other people thing about it 8)

Yea those are pretty sweet. My buddie has some of those on a teg back at home in 17's. He had them in silver but then got them painted like a reallie dark gunmetal. He also got a set of Wilwood(sp?) brakes on there. I think the rotors on that one are like 12in or so and he clears them fine, but I dont know how it would match and fit up to a Audi tho

If you want sl's, go dark. Passats look totally sweet with anthracite sl's, especially with a silver car.

After all if you get silver wheels on your silver car, you're going to start looking just like your brother and people might start talking.... :poke:

Most Audi guys would kill the person that says a Passat and an A4 look alike, I know Greyson would. However, to your average "joe", I guess they could look alike, I don't care. Anthracite just isn't doing it for me, it looks great on Audi's, but on Passats it just looks to aggressive. Definitely going with silver to begin with, don't care about brake dust 8)

Pass......I don't do wheels unless the spokes run all the way to the rim.

I like em because they look JUST like F1 rims, just not sized 13x13.
