Veyron Owns R1

I saw this vid a while back, but I forgot to post it. So, some of you may have already seen it. I just haven't seen another vid of a Veyron getting on it next to something fast.

The veyron had to have been going 200+ before the "race" ..... I'm sorry but no car pulls like that from an even roll.

Yea... What reportedly happened was the Veyron saw the bike getting on it and laid into it even more. He was already going ~120mph and came by doing ~210mph. They never really lined up, but we all know the Veyron would pull it - maybe not rape it, but it would pull it easily.

Veyrons trap 142 stock on pump gas with A/C on and stereo going. Those cars are the shit.

What do '05 R1's trap? Upper 130's with a good rider? But we all know that from a roll, it is more aerodynamics and less power-to-weight.

Not anything like that. I've seen plenty of videos with cars faster than Veyrons racing 1000cc bikes and they don't pull a 1/10th as hard as that.

Heck I could make my Type-R seem like it pulls that hard by doing that. Of course the Veyron could beat the R1 but there was definitely no ownage in this video.

BTW I'm sure a Veyron's AC cuts off like nearly every other car when you get on it (like 10whp is going to matter on that car) and I don't think the stereo robs any horsepower. :p

At 120-200mph already....not like that (you have to remember awd's advantage is lost if not a disadvantage from a roll race).

The r1 is faster in the 1/4 however so displacement owns weight in this race.

Considering their starting speeds, and the supposition that the Veyron can beat the Mac F1 to 200 giving the F1 a headstart to 120mph, I'd say it probably pulls pretty hard up top.

In the low 140's but with a PRO rider. It even takes talent to drag a bike, haha.

Of course it pulls hard up top but if it was a heads up race it would NOT pull that hard from an R1 from a roll considering both where stock and in good running condition. If you watch the video the bike started at the VERY BOTTOM of whatever gear it was in as it probably just saw the Veyron hauling ass up on it's tail.

I mean heck go watch some videos of 1300whp Vipers that weigh 800lbs LESS than Veyrons, accelerate WAY faster and have just as high if not higher proven top speeds race against similar bikes. If they don't pull away anywhere near that hard a car that is SLOWER in every single aspect sure as hell isn't.

I thought in most of those vids they were racing turbo busas and r1s, at least the ones I saw

There are tons of videos of cars faster than Veyrons running near stock 1000cc bikes and Busa's. If that's a newer R1 it would be just about as fast as any stock Busa.

I got to see Kellys car in action at TX2K7 and it was INSANE! He did pulled by Peters Supra although he was running on pump/race mix I believe and lower boost. His car dynoed a hair over 1K on 16lbs I believe.

He put a hole in his oil pan racing Peter on the road near the dyno going over 200mph!! Crazy ass rich guys! Good thing the dyno day was at RSi, they had a one in stock and replaced it for him on the spot! :steering: :rock:
