OK...
Lemme sketch this out for ya..
We were supposed to have a huge ass mid-term today and he has a conference on Friday to goto so no class.... Take test, rest of the week off..
Bitch of a test. Poetry crap... Bunch of useless biographical information on all of the poets (6) that we have to know for 30% of our grade then we have to identify lines of poetry from one of the 13 poems we studied by Author, Title and signifigance. Then we have 5 short essay questions...
Bastard of a test...
I stay up all night cramming for it and make this obnoxiously long study guide for myself. Then go into the classroom at 7am (class at 9) to sit there without distraction (CounterStrike & TiVo) to study.
Everyone comes in pretty much freakin out about it because he never really told us what to expect on this (30% worth of our grade) test...
So he saunters in 5 minutes late and says:
"[Takes Roll]" (If we miss 3 classes we fail)
"Aight.... We have no class on Friday"
"No test today, test on Monday"
"Any questions?"
The entire class is pretty much just slackjawed staring at the man in wonder and confusment.
"So you all just take this time to study amongst yourselves.
That's my proffessors did at my college
Have fun"
And walks out of class...
It still amazes me that he actually took roll (btw... People didn't show up as well for that class)
So now... Drop date on Friday...
We have a paper that was due on Monday that he obviously won't get back and we have no idea what to even expect for a mid-term AFTER the drop date...
I'm frustrated and confused... Not to mention pissed (is it obvious?)
