So...we were driving the CJ7, and my phone fell out of my pocket over by Auburn Links intersection on S College. A guy in an escalade flashes at us and tells me my phone fell out, so we turn around and go back the 300ft and look for it for like 20 minutes, but we can't find it.

It's been a few days. Well an unknown number is calling people trying to get in touch with me. Finally Curt picks up, and some gangster asks for me. (He called my parents earlier as well). He says he picked up my phone in the intersection, and keeps asking me if I have any cash. When I tell him "nah, man...I've got other phones sorry" He keeps saying "Got any cash? You need your phone don't you?" After I tell him no again, I hang up...

So yeah, some dude is trying to sell me my phone back. I should have just arranged a meeting spot and called the cops, but I didn't think about it at the time, I was just trying not to piss him off since he's got the phone number of everybody I know, including my house.

ANYTHING I can do at this point? :confused: I'm pissed, and want my phone back.

Call your phone and set up a meeting. Bring a witness with you when you meet him. If he refuses to return it call the police and let them solve it.

I can't call my phone, I transferred the number to another phone. He has my old, deactivated phone with my entire address book in it.

Have him meet you at the meating spot. Like on the second floor or third. Then a bunch of us will all meet there on the top deck. Scare him alittle

The point is that I can't contact him b/c it was an unknown number when he called curt's phone. If I could get his number I'd just call the cops, but I can't get his number and he probably won't call back now :( Any way to get that number?

Eh sounds like that address book is gone man. Not too much you can do since the number has been transferred. If you were paul walker you could call the secret police hotline and have them do a cell phone trace.

Truthfully though I think it would just be better if you had him meet you on top of the parking deck along with the rest of us. We could all stay in our cars until he got there and I would be fully prepared to use my truck to block him into the garage so he had no way out. Then we could call the cops and put the fucker in jail.

I have the sniper rifle. Its a 22-250 bench rifle. I could take out the phone blackmailer from 1000 yards. It will cost you about 200 bucks. Thats my closing out spring price :D

I think the top of the parking deck after dark is a great idea...make sure that everyone is there and we can use the whole "force in numbers" tactic...blocking someone in may be a bad idea, unles you don't care about getting your cars rammed or actually getting shot at it these gangsta's are fo' real.

or we could all show up at the deck and have the police show up too...that way they can do the shooting legit style...name the time/place and as long as it is after 5pm I got your back....

Well I would like my freaking phone back too...

I don't think you guys understand the problem, haha - I would arrange a meeting, but I don't have a way to contact this dude. I told him earlier i wouldn't give him cash for my phone, and he called Curt (and others) from a blocked number. So...I guess there isn't any way to contact him? Brock, can you use the FBI computers to trace the call? LOL :rolleyes:

I read the first 3 or 4 posts. I have everything in my phone on lock down, including my sim card. I also don't have any family numbers in mine...mainly because I'm paranoid I may call them by accident and they'll hear something I don't want them to lolz. Plus I don't want to have my home number in there in fear that some crazy fuck would find it and come kill me. On a side note, I woulda met up with him and had the cops bust the dude. That kid is a fuckin faggot. "Got any cash?!" What an ijit. I'd fucking beat his ass!
