First night to ever drive any car down the strip.
I told myself I'd be happy with a 13.5 from the night b/c I didn't know how hard I could push without breaking stuff (my diff, which thankfully didn't have any issues).
First pass was a 13.6 with a passenger, so I was quite optimistic.
I had 7 consecutive runs where I got progressively better. My 8th pass, which I don't count, came later in the night but I somehow missed 2nd (yeah, it's down, right?) and still ran a 13.4... after that somebody had a leak that was taking a while to clean up and it was close to 11:00 anyway, so we rolled on out.

So anyway, best was my 7th run:

I shifted too early into 4th, having about another 250-500 to squeeze out, and I know I have some room for improvement with my 60', but overall, I'm quite thrilled.

And just for Whitten, in the right lane was a Z71.

Nice man! Not bad for your first time at the track. Next time you go, you will be more familiar with how drag racing works and will hopefully pull some even better times. I want to make it out to the track with you guys sometime. I love the LS-7 by the way :D

Nice rx7 man. The track wasn't to great for street tires. I couldn't get under a 2.0 60ft, but still ran a few 12.6's.. Oh well.

I think I'm somewhat addicted now as I already want to go back! :D
I'm not satisfied (but i am happy :)) with those runs though because I never pulled off a perfect pass, so at this point I don't really know what my true "baseline" is.
Hopefully I'll be returning quite soon. :meatwad:

I couldn't muster anything under 2.1 all night. I got wheelhop on all but one of my launches and that ONE was one of my best 60' if I remember correctly. I just wish I could do that every time.

 Thanks :D

Most definitely. And I need a ride in the SC3!!! I want to know what boost feels like while riding in the lap of luxury.
Nice to finally meet you too.

Thanks everybody!

Wow, someone got bit by the bug. lol Do yourself a favor, address that rear end and the axle hop right away (along with the bird's nest in the passenger floorboard :p) and everything will get better with time. :cough: drag radials :cough:

You don't need a driver's license to race at the track. :bullshit:
