He was just doing his job :asshole:. You think maybe after the first one or two tickets you would put some lighter tint on it. If you don't like people seeing your shit, don't put shit in the car. Hell dark tint would make me want to break the window to see what you are hiding in there if I was a thief.

They can't pull everybody over, it must have been pick on tint day.

Don't bitch if you knowingly break the law and get caught. That's fuckin retarded. :asshole:

Don't get me wrong, I break the law too. I speed, occasionally park illegally, etc. However, I know when I do that I am taking a risk of having to pay a ticket.

You have a right to say what you want but I don't feel bad for ya one bit.

You'd think I would do something about my window tint also after 2 tickets but I honestly don't really give a shit. I love having my window tint. It keeps my black leather cool during the day, eliminates the need to wear sunglasses when the sun is bright, keeps jacked up truck headlights from shining in my eyes and also just looks compliments the cars looks. Just gotta be prepared when doing something illegal to pay the consequences.

But as far as state troopers being assholes goes, I have been pulled over 14+ times and the two times that have been related to state troopers I must say I was treated way less than acceptable. The first time I received 3 seperate tickets, one being for window tint, and the second time I was very rudely spoken to about my tint almost to the point of harassment. I was pulled over once by a Harpersville cop about my tint and he actually complimented the way it looked and told me I needed to just take it off and make it lighter.

So yeah, state troopers are assholes, but if you are intentionally doing something illegal its just a risk you will have to take :)

State Troopers tend to be a bit more confrontational because they have to deal with more dickheads than city cops do on a day to day basis.

Haha yea I remember when you told me that you were getting into the tint business. My last tint ticket was $123 from a trooper just outside of Dadeville. Don't remember how much the one was from the trooper near Pelham/Alabaster though.

Haha yeah it was a black man but I don't remember if he was old or not. He was very rude though. The conversation was something like this..

Officer: "Do you know why I pulled you over?"
Me: "No sir, why?"
Officer: "Your window tint is too dark"
Me: "Ahh.."
Officer: "Do you know how dark it is?"
Me: "About 15% I'm guessing"
Officer: "No, 12%. Have you ever got in trouble for this before?"
Me: "Yes, and ironically enough it was also from a state trooper."
Officer: "But you didn't take it off?"
Me: "No sir. I like my window tint. I like how it.."
Officer (interrupting): "You got more money than brains boy?"
Me: "No, I jus.."
Officer (interrupting again): "Huh? You got more money than brains?"
Me: "I guess so."
Officer: "I wish my daddy would have paid my tickets when I was your age."
Me: "Yeah, it must be nice"
*Goes to his car and comes back a few minutes later with a ticket. I signed the ticket very sloppily and made it obvious that I was angry with the way he was treating me. He started to walk away and then said..
Officer: "You know, it's going to be funny when you get pulled over from a cop that isn't as nice as I am and they suspect you of having a gun and pull your ass out of the car and throw you on the ground. Maybe then you will think about taking this tint off."
Me: "Ok. Have a good day."

Guess its just the luck of the draw when it comes to troopers. The one that came to my wreck from Alex City was actually a pretty nice guy.

you know for consecutive tickets the price doubles and then triples before you get really boned with bonus jail time right? ask me how i know.

My cousin has been cited at least 10 times for his 0% reading tint, and just keeps paying the regular fine to make them go away. He's content with his tint. :D

I'm sorry but this is fucking retarded. Keep paying $123 a pop just to keep some dark tint on your car.

I'm with Eric, who gives a fuck if it's $123. I like my shit and if you have the money to pay for it and $123 is worth it and cheap to you...then fuck it. Ha! It probably was the same faggot ass cop Eric, and yea he's an asshole, he's pulled me over at least 2wice.

He asked me why my tint was so dark and why I had tint on my windshield after I told him I knew it was illegal (didn't give a flying fuck about a non moving violation). Hell, I told him, "because it looks good!" He was pissed, wrote me up. I could have taken it off and saved the cash...fuck that and fuck him. I usually ride with the windows down in those parts, but whateva.

Haha yea. I've started rollin to and from AU with my windows down as well. To some people payin the tickets to keep the tint is worth it, to others its not. To each his own though :steering:

I was mainly taking about profiling, btw I am in the gulf right now on the way here I got pulled over by a trooper for 87 in a 65 on 431. Windows were double 5 on the back, 5 on the sides and a 6 inch strip on the top and bottom. Didnt get a single ticket. Just a warning for speeding :pimp: I did have a few hoes with me so that always helps....

and by hoes you mean d00dz right?

your lucky. i had double 5 all around one time because it was really nice *in the daytime* then some fuck broke into my car and left the sheet of glass entirely intact b/c of the tint.

Haha, yeah car theives love tinted windows dude...they can break it with a life hammer and the shit stays in tact. I'm laughing, but that sucks. I'd immobilize someone for life if I caught them doing that.
