Any good junk yards around here you guys know of? I'm particularly looking for a d16z6 engine and possibly a tranny. Just curious :confused:

ummmm...Good Luck, you have about a 1/1000 chance of actually finding one of those in a junkyard...and less of a chanceof one actually working

In saying that...Jess and I looked for p28 ECUs for probably a year straight...came across maybe 3, 2 of which I believe were automatics

I took a day off of work with Nick specifically to get ECU's from Montgomery. Spent the day up there, came back pissed off and empty handed. :(

google antonio's up in ensley alabama and call them. They may have a few things they are a import specific junkyard i believe.

Too bad you didn't need this like 3yrs ago. I took my PERFECTLY operating D series motor that I pulled out of my hatch to a junkyard because no one wanted the damn thing. I couldn't even give it away.

there is a pullapart junkyard in montgomery now but i seriously doubt that there is a d series engine layin around.. check out some of the honda swap sites like hmotors online and osaka..

Thanks guys... I figured I would have a tough time but I just wanted some other people to confirm my thoughts. Maybe I should try to get this car for 900 that's running with a d16z6...
