Here is a little word of advice for any of the new guys showing up at meetings.

1. Know what the hell you are talking about before you say anything.

2. Don't go up to some member you just met spouting off crap that he/she should do. There is a real good chance that he or she knows about 10 times more than you.

3. If you are not experienced at the track don't act like you are. Again I don't want to embarrass you.

4. Who the hell cares about your friends car.

5. Remove your powersteering so your car will handle better. :roll:

Message for the old guys: dont let a girl drive your car at the SCAR meetings. She might accidently launch it into the side of a white Cavalier... :shock:

ask any racer, any real racer. its not about if your car can handle, its about your power steering being removed so it can handle.

oh and remove the powersteering pump to brock...remember...damn! :roll: :roll:

"Oh shit" (when she didn't let the clutch out in first gear untill about 7k)

"I converted my oil cap into a purge valve"

"Holy shit!" (When Clent actually DROVE his car to the meeting)

"The radiator now converts coolant to Knawzzz"

"I still can't believe Brock let her drive his car"

"Clent, it doesn't matter, your still gay"

"Where did my spoiler go?"

"Taking off your power steering belt increases grip, especially if you take off the pump" (I know I already said it, but man was he a dumbass)

"I want a Type R valve cover on my 1.8t"

Okay, that about sums it up..........I forgot most of the other things people were saying, but this was a pretty comprehensive list. So all the other memebers who haven't made it out to the meetings yet, this is what you have to look forward to :shock: :D

The 4 minute spool time is well worth the wait

We actually fooled a girl one time into thinking we used 'Porsche Air' in our tires. Told her that it was an inert gas if higher density than normal air, causing less pressure change as the tires heat up and allowing for less sidewall flex and yadda yadda yadda...She totally bought it. Just like the guy last night who believed my throttle body was my turbo. :lol:
