Hey guys I just joined up. You might have seen me at the last two parking deck meets. My name is Brandon, and I drive the silver 05 civic. So far I only have intake, header, pulleys, and exhaust installed, but I am steadily buying parts for my turbo kit. All I really have left is to pic up my lines, charge pipe, and AEM FIC.
here are some pics of some of my goodies...
Garrett air research t3 .42/.48 turbo, tial wastegate, turbo xs rfl bov, my manifold that i snagged from Nopi, and you can see one end of my turbo xs intercooler w/ same side inlet outlet

I also just picked up my set of rsx-s injectors that I will be running as well as a few other nick nack parts that I left out

Nice, check out www.aemfic.com. A member here (Jess) just started it up so there isn't a whole lot of info on there yet but I'm sure he'd be willing to help out.

Sweet lookin manifold ;) Oh, and welcome to the forums.
:pics: :fuckoff:
That's a cute turbo you have there..... does it blow dry your hair to? :P Be ready for that manifold to raise underhood temps and soak that SMIC.
Let's see some pics of your car.
Welcome

Does that make it easier to put in the VTAK juice. No internals with the upgrade?
How much Boost?

(sad I know) as for the intercooler, I am actually routing as a front mount. Its just easier with the em2 to route everything to the passenger side. I will be starting off running around 5.8 lbs of boost with a .40 bar spring in the wastegate until I can afford to replace the intake manifold with a modified aftermarket d16 manifold and throttle body since no one makes an aftermarket intake mani for the d17, and the stock just so happens to be plastic :-( ... when I have that replaced I will port n' polish then raise the boost to around 8, replace the clutch with a stage two exedy, and possibly change to an aftermarket fly wheel and retune... Just as a side note I only want to hit around 220 wheel horsepower and there are several guys on the honda-tech forum who I have spoken to that with around 5-6 pounds on a completely bolt on kit, and a good port n' polish are making around 210 whp one of which has an auto tranny. So I am pretty confident that I can reach this safely without diggin into the internals

Thanks for the plug ;)
Good luck on the boost.

good meeting you the other night, just keep the boost in check and you will be fine. And as far as the k20, would he have to do a complete over haul on the motor bay and change the cradle? ? 10k for k20 vs. maybe 5k for turbo..
