Got the new engine in (put the finishing touches on it a little while ago)
Still oughta adjust the valves, but I'll get around to that...

No more dieseling noise (F$&%^& valve train noise tho)
runs great, only broke the power steering resivoir (damn did that make a mess) and forgot to put the dist. in the back of the head before filling with oil.... heh heh heh

Great things are coming (hopefully in the form of a donor car with a good body and interior ;) )

the 740. My parts for the 240 are still MIA.

For those that didnt get the info, the new engine is a 1995 volvo 940 gl (still keepin the NA volvo faith), its got bigger rods and piston oil squirters. $425 shipped, with 70k on it. Runs like a top, doesnt smoke, no abnormal noises (its quiet as shit actually, I'm not used to it yet.. if it weren't for the valve train beating around, I wouldn't know the damn thing was running..)
