Wouldn't a hollow blank make it weaker than a stock cam?

If they were made from the same material. Let's just put it this way, Toda knows what they are doing, and as far as I know there has been no instance of Toda cams breaking. I have seen many others broken but not Todas.

Didn't tom break a set of todas? I heard he did, and they were real dicks about it (it was a materials/production failure, either one or both sheered off just past the pulleys)

I've never heard of anyone breaking a set of Toda cams unless it was install related. In terms of quality they are pretty much at the top of the game when it comes to all motor Honda's.
