That "747 airfoil" is actually the best spoiler for applying rear downforce. That is the wing used on the world's fastest Texas Mile car. It actually went a good bit faster than the TT Viper and all of the race cars, while his is a true street car. (228.7MPH) He tested all the spoilers and ended up using the RMM wing, so I can only assume it is the best for high speed stability.

I was about to say it looked like a fun day filled with 16 second time slips but I guess MMP DID allow rolling starts! :D

This was at Steele, and there were no cars slower than a mid 13 except one Supra like Donnie's that was NA - it still ran a high 15.

There was a 6-speed Supra that ran 3 9.8X@150mph 3 times in a row - so much for all 6-speeds running 12's. There was an auto 300ZX that ran 10.2X@133mph, an auto Supra that ran a best of 10.2X@139mph, several 11 second cars, and the rest ran 12's at ~120mph. There was one Supra with just an exhaust that ran 13.2X@109mph. The GS300 with the swap went a 13.2@113mph on 19's - not bad for a 4-door auto.

I agree. I think the rear of the MKIV is too bulbous to go wingless. I think it needs the wing to visually balance the massiveness of the rear.

I also don't know the background of the car, how long it has taken to achieve this, or if he was expected go even faster. For all I knew, it could've been expected for him to be that fast. But since I guess it wasn't. Congrats to Donnie.

Donnie Spears Aka cheappower84 aka Darkspeed is a man of mystery always forging his own path threw the supra world doing what they said couldent be done.. Taking his stock block JDM tight 6M engine stuffing enought boost and tires under it to make history.. Its a beastly car and he is a beastly driver..

haha on the real its a very unique car with alot of donnies own custom made parts that has consistantly run fairly well but its starting to show its true colors as of late...

As far as i am conserned he is DA man....

Oh yeah, I know! It's incredible! I checked it out, inside and out. He was still putting some stuff together on it a few weeks ago, but it was about done. Just incredible. The damn thing still smells new!
