Aight...my computer has been giving me the BSOD for atleast a year and a half. But this time I cant get it to boot from the Hard Drive to get to windows to repair things.

I called rick and I am attempting to boot from the CD. the Repair option in Cprompt was USELESS. I am booting from the CD right now...it seems to be installing XP...since its installing XP, is it replaced corrupt and missing files or is it overwriting the exiting copy of XP and my current data?

Reason for the current BSOD...I installed some Market Plan Software for Class and less than 4 hrs later computer starts slowing down I get a ! in the triangle warning and the fucker heads down hill...FAST. Then I start her up and BSOD...Fucking Computer sucks cock:(

main question...Am I overwriting my current applications and data?

If it is the recovery cd from HP, it most likely deleting your shit and setting the computer back up like it was when it came out of the box new.
