As I said, I might not even have a clutch in the car by IFO, if it is in there and has at least 300 miles, I will race it. If not, I will be at the track the next Friday. I am at the track nearly every weekend. It won't be hard to get a race with me. Why don't you step up since you are calling out everyone else. My car may not even run a 12 second pass. It just has an exhaust, FMIC, and a filter. It will also be on some old street tires. I might have time to throw on the DR's by next weekend though.

Ok first off, if you can't see where this looks like a call out I am not going to waste my time trying to explain it to you. Second, if you are wondering where your car stands compared to a 12 second car it means you have absolutely no clue what your car runs at all. Now, not know how you stand isn't a problem, but having your friend say that you "want some" is not nearly as nice of a way to ask to race some one as saying "hey could we line up at the track some time? I want to see where I stand."

As for Jvines, I know from experience that you have no clue what you car runs at the track. Anyone who goes out of his way to call out a car without knowing anything about it other than how it looks and having never seen it at the track is foolish and very immature in ways of racing.

My guess is that Charlie said no be because you are an annoyance, so my best advice to you is to slowly and safely drive out to the parking deck next Tuesday and ask nicely to race him. If that doen't work then I don't know what to tell ya other than don't too big for your shoes before you know how you stack up.

I've already talked to him before jvines said anything. He's the one who told me to step up and race because he thought I was jvines. He later realized that I wasn't. I was completely trashing my car and my car only all day because I couldn't figure out why it was running so shitty. Thanks to some guy with an s14 with an rb26 we discovered that my fuel pressure was way to high and I was basically flooding my engine which is why i was running such crappy times. Hopefully I will get a chance to take it back out to MMP this weekend and see what I can get it to run now that its actually pulling. Anyways it was good seeing everyone out all at once.

P.S. Talon_AWD's best time was a 12.32

Thanks to some guy with an s14 with an rb26 we discovered that my fuel pressure was way to high and I was basically flooding my engine which is why i was running such crappy times.

You got a swapped turbo motor and no wideband? Having to get someone else to tell you that you're running rich is as bad as someone walking up to you, handing you some Vagisil and telling you your wife has a yeast infection.

Thanks, that was the run I missed third. Damn transmission don't wanna shift at high rpms. My best run was a 12.33 @ 115. Don't have a good tune on her yet, but I was satisfied with that time and I had a good time. I didn't run into any of you that I know of. I'll try to make a meet soon so I can meet some of you. What is your setup? You would have owned my 6-speed car with the 12.33@115mph. I don't even think it will trap that high. It might be somewhat close from a 40 roll.

Congrats for having a DSM that runs like it should. I should have never modded my first one past an exhaust. It went 13.1@103mph with an exhaust and boost creeping to 17-18psi. The more I modded it the more unreliable it got.

I even had to confirm on the spot from brent , a stock KA24DE powered s13 with a GOOD driver can run mid 15's ...so assuming you are a GOOD driver, you must be making like 135-140 wheel wirth your RB20...in which case..im surprised someone ELSE had to tell you your engine was running bad

I dont have that many upgrades but it still should be pretty good. All i have is a big 16g,hbc,apexi bov,1g intercooler,ported manifold,k&n intake,forged pistons,no cat and exhaust,i am hopein with the new turbo to push low to mid 13's

It should run low 13's with just an exhaust. I'd be crying if my big 16G car didn't run mid 12's on pump gas.

Negative Ghost Rider the pattern is full. My wife has put me back on lockdown so I doubt I will be able to come down. Plus the turbo needs to be taken back off and have the wastegate ported. I am having some major boost creep in 3rd and 4th gear above 5500 RPMs. Maybe after I get it fixed I will have to make a trip down for a day:)
