Have you tried isopropylene?

HEET yellow bottle is aparently pure methanol. Kinda pricy if you need a lot. You should be able to get it at Adavance or Wal-Mart or the like.

How much do you need?

I dunno, a 5 gallon can should last a little while. If i get a wild hair, the meth kit will come off the volvo and go on the evo, at that point i'll just get a pipeline run to the house.
